1 teaspoon brown sugar

3 bone-in chicken breasts

crackers or chips for serving

2 (8-ounce) blocks cream cheese, softened to room temperature

2/3 cups ranch dressing

1/2 red onion, chopped

1 teaspoon salt

8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, freshly grated

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Rub chicken breasts with softened butter then season with salt and pepper. Place on a baking sheet and roast for 30-40 minutes.
