1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper

1/4 cup canned mushrooms (what I had on hand…sauteed would be much better)

1/4 cup dry white wine

1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves

1 1/2 Tbsps minced garlic (4 cloves)

1 Tbsp kosher salt plus 1 1/2 tsps

the fresh lemon juice from 1/2 lemon

1/2 lemon, zest grated

3/4 lb linguine

2 1/2 Tbsps good olive oil

1/3 cup peas

1/8 tsp hot red pepper flakes

1 lb large shrimp (about 16 shrimp), peeled and deveined

3 Tbsps unsalted butter
