Cooking instruction summary:

Line a brownie pan with parchment paper and reserve a spot in the freezer for the panIn a large bowl, combine all the ingredients except the oats and rice cereal and stir until mixture is even/soupyFold in the oats, then fold in the brown rice cereal (feel free to add some chopped hazelnuts). Once everything is fully incorporated, spread into the brownie pan, flatten, and freeze overnight (I sliced after a couple hours of freezing, but I recommend slicing the next day for straighter lines). Serve straight from the freezer! Just note that I have an ancient fridge in my dorm-room right now, so it may not be as cold as yours. If your freezer is on the really cold side, maybe put it in the fridge for an hour before serving.

So, they go to see their doctor, who explains that there is nothing really wrong with, just typical memory loss associated with old age. He suggests that they each get notebooks and write notes to themselves to help remember things. The couple goes home and that evening while watching T.V. the man gets up and heads for the kitchen. His wife asks if he can bring her some ice cream when he returns. He says he will, and she says he should write it down. "I`m just going to the kitchen, I'll remember."
