1 bay leaf

1 teaspoon coriander seeds

1/2 teaspoon black peppercorns

1 teaspoon cumin seeds

3 carrots, peeled and diced

2 stalks celery, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 pound small red beans, soaked overnight and rinsed
