12 slices bacon, preferably peppered or apple-wood smoked

Freshly ground black pepper

2 Tbs. chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley

1 medium garlic clove, minced

Kosher salt

1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
